By NATION REPORTERShiwangadu member of Parliament Steven Kampyongo has warned newly appointed district commissioners to stay away from politics.Mr Kampyongo observed that contrary to what President Hakainde Hichilema was saying when he was in opposition that once in power, he will appoint DCs based on merit, the calibre of new DCs is questionable.He said that the newly appointed DCs should be orientated on how to work rather than being political.Mr Kampyongo said that the new DCs should not come into offices as politicians but as civil servants.“These new DCs should not come with politics, they should be taught how to work and more importantly let us give each other respect,” he said.And member of the central committee Catherine Chileshe has urged new PF members of parliament to emulate Mr Kampyongo.Ms Chileshe said that Mr Kampyongo has set a good example to young politicians through his good leadership.
