HOW A SHOE GOT A SUSPECTED GOAT THIEF NABBEDBY MAKOKWA CLARA MUYENDEKWATWO witnesses have testified before the Choma magistrate court in a matter in which two men are accuse of stock theft.This is in a matter where Skipings Dina and Nchimunya Sichintu are accused of stealing two goats belonging to O’Brian Simutele who is the complainant, valued at K800.The first state witness, Moses Mapani aged 29 of Hanzala village in Chief Mapanza chiefdom, testified that he was awakened by noises of tied goats around 23:00 hours.“ I followed the noise and identified the men that had them. I then started chasing them and did not manage to apprehend them as they escaped with one leaving his shoes.” Mapani narrated.Mapani said the community decided to hand the two men to the police after Nchimunya identified the shoes he had left the previous night as his.
