…as Bankers edge Crocs, Zesco, Forest drawBy MICHAEL MIOBAAFTER conceding two penalties, Choma’s Green Eagles fought back to hold Kitwe giants Nkana FC 2-2 in an entertaining Week-12 MTN/FAZ Super League fixture yesterday at Nkana Stadium in Kitwe.Nkana had beneftited from two penalties which were converted by strikers Alex Ngonga and Ronald “Sate Sate” Kampamba.Ngonga converted the first spot kick won when striker Patrick Gondwe was brought down in the box after some great exchange of passes with Ronald Kampamba upfront. Kampamba scored the second penalty won after two Green Eagles defenders fouled Alex Ngo’nga in the box.However, Eagles did not give up and managed to pull one goal back through striker Derick Bulaya who inspired the comeback with an 82nd minute strike.Hosea Silwimba grabbed the equaliser two minutes before the final whistle for the two sides to share the points as Eagles moved to fourth on the log with 17 points while Nkana moved to ninth with 15 points.Meanwhile, Zanaco FC bounced back to winning ways after edging Kafue Celtics 1-0 thanks to left back Taonga Bwembya’s first half goal at Sunset Stadium […]
