By OLIVER SAMBOKOGOVERNMENT says the amendment to the republican constitution and the review of the Public Order Act will be done before the 2026, general elections. Vice President Mutale Nalumango disclosed this yesterday during the vice president’s question time in parliament. This was after PF Bwacha Member of Parliament, Sydney Mushanga asked on how soon the government will address the lacunas in the current constitution. Ms Nalumango said the country will not be going to the next general elections under the current constitution. She said the new dawn government is committed to deal with the lacunas in the constitution and POA.
