By ADRIAN MWANZAUPND chairperson for elections Garry Nkombo has challenged PF Lusangazi aspiring council chairperson Patrick Banda to report to the police over alleged abduction plots.According to the PF, a ploy by suspected UPND cadres was concocted to abduct Mr Banda and to only be released after the October 21 elections.But Mr Nkombo who expressed ignorance over the matter said abduction was a serious matter and that there was need to report the matter to the police.“I’m hearing this from you and I do not want to make comments based on allegations but what I can say is that this is a serious matter and those aggrieved should report to the police,” he said.While drumming up support in Eastern Province, a PF member of the central committee Mr Raphael Nakacinda said that messages and recordings were there to show plans of UPND threatening Mr Banda with abduction.“On the first occasion they promised to give him […]
