Facebook Instagram and WhatsApp, have gone offline for users across the globe, Reuters have reported. In Zambia users of the mentioned platforms have taken to emails and calls asking each other if they are able to access any of the aforementioned sites.According to Zambia Information and Communication Technology Agency (ZICTA) statistics, Zambia has over 5 million people that use the social media sites for various purposes including communication and business purposes.Reuters could not immediately confirm the issue affecting the services ,but the error message on the webpage of Facebook INC (FB.O) suggested a problem with Domain Name System (DNS).
