By ANDREW MUKOMAA SWEDISH based Non-Governmental Organization (NGO), Academic Work has donated three vehicles to Response Network in Livingstone for monitoring sponsored vulnerable children particularly girls attain their education.Currently, Response Network has about 600 vulnerable girls under its sponsorship in Livingstone with another over 200 beneficiaries in Kazungula and Zimba districts respectively.The organization also built more than 39 classrooms and more 14 staff houses for teachers in all the community schools since its establishment over 13 years ago.Head of Corporate Social Responsibility at Academic Work, Lina Tunek, said emphasized her organization’s support to Response Network was to ensure a conducive environment in uplifting the standard of living for the vulnerable children.She said this in her virtual address during the vehicles flag of ceremony held in Livingstone over the weekend.Ms Tunek said that the vehicles were expected to be used to monitor the progress performance of the children in their education who were spread across the […]
