IT has come our attention that our article in our Daily Nation publication dated September 3, 2021, page 2, under the headline, “Ghost workers will be nailed- UPND,” the paper cited Zanaco as one of the institutions with ghost workers. It has come to our attention that the information is inaccurate.Zanaco’s payroll is not linked to Government payroll and the Bank does not have any ghost workers on its payroll. Further, the bank has a robust human resource database and a premises access system to identify staff that is linked to our payroll system, which is audited on a monthly basis. We sincerely apologise to the Bank.
