LOOMING PROTEST AT LUSAKA WATERWorkers at Lusaka Water and Sanitation Company have threatened to go on strike over what they have described as managements failure to resolve their concerns.The workers are among others issues demanding for a consolidated salary and the provision of Personal Protective Equipment- PPE.Zambia Water and Sanitation Engineering and Allied Workers Union Chairperson Moses Mwale says some of the concerns of the employees can be backdated to about 10 years.Mr. Mwale has accused management of paying a deaf ear to their concerns.He was speaking to ZNBC News in an interview today.But when contacted for a comment, Lusaka Water and Sanitation Company Public Relations Officer Nshamba Muzungu said the company will issue a comprehensive statement during the course of the week.
