Three officials and several other party members from the Peoples Alliance for Change (PAC) in Northern Province have resigned to join the Patriot Front (PF).The defectors who were led by their Provincial Treasurer, Diness Kaira said they have decided to join the PF owing to a number of developmental projects that the ruling party has initiated.Ms Kaira said she has been compelled to join the PF due to a number of pro-poor policies that the party has put in place.She cited the social cash transfer programme, which has improved the livelihoods of people in the country.And Borniface Senti who resigned as PAC Provincial Youth Chairperson said the party lacks clear direction and focus saying PF is the only party of choice as the country goes to the polls this month.Meanwhile, former PAC Lukashya Constituency Secretary, Borniface Mulenga pledged to secure massive votes for the PF.“We will make sure to deliver votes for President Lungu and […]
