ACTS OF LAWLESSNESS BY UPND CADRES ACROSS THE COUNTRY CONTINUE.UPND cadres have continued to engage in acts of lawlessness since the declaration of the party leader Hakainde Hichilema as president-elect of the Republic of Zambia.The cadres have been seen in videos and pictures that have gone viral, looting goods, harassing, beating and damaging properties of UPND of suspected PF symphathisers or perceived political opponents.In a recent video, a police officer who was attempting to stop a group of suspected UPND cadres’ unruly behauvior is seen being harassed and eventually locked up in a shop before driving off the scene.In another video, a man suspected to be a PF member is mercilessly beaten after been spotted in UPND party regalia.In response to the attacks UPND spokesperson Cornelius Mweetwa told the media this morning that police must quickly arrest the situation.“For those places where this harassment or possible violence could have taken place before the president elect […]
