By ADRIAN MWANZATHE Electoral Commission of Zambia (ECZ) has indicated that the ban on political campaign rallies has not changed regardless of the reduction in numbers of Covid-19 cases in the country.ECZ Corporate Affairs manager Patricia Luhanga said the status quo was still the same over campaigns and nothing had changed even after reduction of Covid-19 cases which had ravaged the country claiming over 2,000 lives.Ms Luhanga said nothing had changed concerning campaigns and that the ECZ had not made any decision to the contrary.And when asked on the Covid-19 cases reducing in the country, Ms Luhanga maintained that nothing had changed as things stood concerning the political campaigns.She called on political players to adhere to the Covid-19 regulations to ensure that the virus which had claimed many lives in the country and the globe at large was contained.
