By ANDREW MUKOMACOMPLIANCE levels among passengers using minibuses on township routes in Livingstone has remained a source of concern.Many passengers are disregarding the Covid-19 golden rules of masking up, hand sanitizing, observing social distancing and avoiding crowded areas.Patriotic Front (PF) Livingstone Constituency Youth Chairman, Ikuka Muleta, said if the behaviour continued, the virus would be difficult to control.During a random check at the bus station yesterday by the Daily Nation, it was discovered that the laxity levels among passengers on the local routes was very high.Commenting on the issue, Mr Muleta said the laxity was the reason behind the recent surge in Covid-19 cases and urged members of the public not to drop their guard down.“I want to appeal to people of Livingstone that they should follow the golden rules strictly.
