By OLIVER SAMBOKOTHE August 12, General Elections should be about voting for people who have demonstrated the ability to develop the country and not voting on partisan lines as we have been doing in the past, UPND member, Previous Sianyanga has said.He said the people of Southern province and other regions perceived to be UPND strongholds have lost out in terms of development because of voting for a political party instead of voting for individuals with the ability to lobby for development from government. Mr Sianyanga said most areas that were under UPND members of Parliament in the past five years are underdeveloped compared to those held by other parties because the people in these areas voted on partisan lines and without scrutinizing the candidates.SUBSCRIBE TO READ FULL STORY;[maxbutton id=”1″]
