By NATION REPORTERHUNDREDS of UPND members in Mazabuka’s Beenie Mwiinga Ward yesterday protested against the decision by the party to drop the incumbent councilor, Breven Chizyuka.The irate members burnt tyres and blocked roads protesting the adoption of Glorison Lakhi.The protesters demanded the immediate withdraw of Mr Lakhi’s adoption, saying that he was not popular on the ground.“We want Breven…” members chanted.Efforts to get a comment from the police proved futile by press time.
