By JOHN KOMBESOME male teachers who were implicated in the sexual abuse of girls at Rufunsa Technical Boarding Secondary school (RUTECH) in Rufunsa will soon face disciplinary action.Lusaka Provincial Education Officer Dr. Christopher Sinkamba confirmed the development in an interview.Dr Sinkamba said that his office had received the report of teachers sexually abusing girl children at the school and that soon culprits would be brought to book.He stated that the reports were true and his office was compiling a report to be presented to the Permanent Secretary for further action. Dr Sinkamba however referred further queries to the Ministry of General Education.“The reports are as they were on the ground. We are compiling a report for the Permanent Secretary, but concerning the course of action, you can get in touch with the ministry spokesperson,” he said.And some parents described the happenings as disappointing.
