By KETRA KALUNGA Patriotic Front (PF) members in Kaumbwe constituency in Petauke have rejected the incumbent Member of Parliament, Listed Tembo as candidate for the August 12 general elections opting for another local resident, Jimmy Lungu.And the members have petitioned Members of Central Committee (MCC) to adopt a candidate who would reflect the wish of the people in the area to stand as MP in the coming general elections.Mr Peter Mumba said, they want an MP who has been on the ground and not the incumbent because not only has he failed to deliver but has practically abandoned the people.Mr. Mumba said in an interview that the incumbent, Mr. Tembo who rarely visits the constituency has not taken any tangible development to the area since being ushered in office in 2016.“We want an MP who has been on the ground so that we don’t have challenges introducing him to the people on the ground, the […]
