By SANFROSSA MANYINDAGOVERNMENT has assured the residents of Mufulira Central that it would for the first time build a secondary school in the area.This follows a plea from the Member of Parliament, Evans Chibanda, to have a secondary school constructed in the area to Minister of General Education Dennis Wanchinga in Mufulira Central yesterday.Dr Chibanda made the plea shortly before handing over a one by three classroom block that he built as area MP at Mutundu Primary School at a total cost of K980, 000.Mufulira Central has since 1964 never had a secondary school apart from those that were recently upgraded.Dr Wanchinga has thus directed Copperbelt Provincial Education Officer Felix Ngoma to engage various stakeholders in the province to see how the project could be actualised.“We will also as a ministry start running up and down engaging cooperating partners of the ministry to see how we can deliver the much needed project to the constituents.“May […]
