By NOEL IYOMBWATHE Lusaka Regional Immigration Office has secured the conviction of a 23 year old casual worker of Emmasdale in Lusaka for forging an Immigration Identity Card.Immigration public relations officer Namati Nshinka confirmed the development in a statement.Mr Nshinka disclosed that particulars of the offence are that George Chipango on dates unknown but between 1st January and 5th April, 2021 forged an immigration identity card.He explained that the convict was taken to North Gate Police Post by alert members of the public after he was found at Kabanana Market wearing an Immigration coat, masquerading as an Immigration Officer.Mr Nshinka said the suspect was later handed over to Immigration by members of the public.“In his possession were two (02) Immigration Identity Cards, one (01) Council Identity Card, a National Registration Card and a Voter’s Card.
