By OLIVER SAMBOKOTHE Bishops Council of Zambia (BCZ) has called for national prayers for God’s intervention in the continued disappearance of the Hatembo siblings Pheluna and Milton who have been missing for over two months.Police have already arrested and charged four senior members of the UPND for allegedly abducting the Hatembo siblings who are witnesses in a disputed land matter in which UPND president Hakainde Hichilema allegedly fraudulently acquired farm number 1924 in Kalomo.Bishop Kaela said the church was concerned with the continued missing of the two especially that they are not only vulnerable but also breadwinners for their families.He said the church should not remain silent over this matter as the world was very instructive on need for the church to protect the oppressed in society.Bishop Kaela said time has now come for all Zambians regardless of the political or religious affiliation, to stand up and demand that the abductors set the Hatembos free […]
