By JACKSON MAPAPAYITHE United Church of Zambia (UCZ) has called on politicians to preach peace before, during and after the general elections.UCZ North-Western Presbytery Bishop, Moses Gondwe, said politicians should not tolerate violence as it has potential to divide the country.Bishop Gondwe said the church was looking forward to a peaceful election, hence calling on all stakeholders to preach peace. He said elections should not divide people and that politicians should focus on development and service delivery not violence. The Presbytery Bishop encouraged the congregants to remain united despite belonging to different political parties.Bishop Gondwe was speaking during the induction service for Reverend Chilongo Mwenya Hamwinga of Zambia UCZ congregation.
