By FRANCIS CHIPALOA CONSORTIUM of churches has commended the Chinese community for donating personal protective equipment (PPEs) worth K100, 000 to aid in the fight against Covid-19. Pastor Rabson Daka, speaking on behalf of more than 30 churches commended the Chinese Associaion in Zambia for their generosity for the donation of tools towards the fight against Covid-19 in Lusaka’s Kanyama constituency.Pastor Daka also hailed the Patriotic Front chairman for Bayuni branch, Mr Chris Changwereza for spearheading the donation for churches where most members have no access to PPEs like masks or hand washing soap. The pastor said most churches have been adversely affected by the Covid-19 because members have lost jobs while others have lost lives to the pandemic.
