ZRL has also announced that during the period under review, the company provided its services to 118,830 passengers compared to 110,884 passengers during the same period in the previous year. ZRL chief executive officer, Christopher Musonda, said between January and June, 2017, a total of 317,625 tonnes were hauled compared to 247,246 tonnes achieved during the same period in the previous year, representing an increase of 28 performance in freight performance.
