Dr. Chishimba noted that the nation appeared more divided than before saying the culture as well as the polarisation and regionalism which characterised the last election had continued to fuel politics of hatred and prejudice. Commenting on President Lungu’s recent national address in Parliament, he observed that a sense of patriotism had been lost in politics and that the situation could not be entirely be blamed on the PF saying the opposition had contributed to the destruction of national identity and the foundation of unity.
