Confirming the development, North Western commissioner of police Auxensio Daka said the three were arrested yesterday around 18:00 hours at St Dorothy in Mushindamo. He identified the suspects as Gideon Kalumba, Martin Lunda and Sam Mulenga all of Chingola on the Copperbelt. He said the trio were found selling assorted drugs at the market. ‘’Yes, I can confirm that we arrested three people in Mushindamo for being in unlawful possession of medical drugs,’’ Mr Daka said. He said the suspects are also suspected to be prohibited immigrants of Congolese origin and are in police custody pending appearance in court. Meanwhile, five suspects have escaped from police custody in Solwezi.
