Mr Mulenga said the judiciary should be given sufficient constitutional powers to enforce decision made by itself against any individual and organisations including political parties and interpret the laws without fear nor favour. He noted that the opposition UPND was under siege by a clique among themselves who were thirsty for power and therefore, have continued to mislead others. Mr Mulenga advised Zambians to desist from belittling key institutions such as the Presidency, Judiciary and Parliament, but instead they must focus on issues of development. He said everyone was subject to the laws that govern the country and that no one was above the law. […]
