Ms Kamalonga said Government will continue to enforce the existing laws which protect children.She warned that individuals who causes children to be on the streets will be made to account for their misdeeds in line with the provisions of the laws. She said street life created extreme vulnerability to violence, exploitative and hazardous labour, sex-work and child trafficking. “It is for this reason that the Patriotic Front government is working hard in ensuring that no child turns to street life because children on the streets are faced with a lot of challenges in accessing key services such as education, health and protection systems among others,” Ms Kamalonga said.
