Tue, 26 Sep 2017 14:39:43 +0000 By Michael Miyoba LUSAKA Dynamos coach Patrick Phiri has hailed his team for progressing to the semifinals of the K350 000 rich Barclays Cup tournament after humbling Kabwe Youth Soccer Academy 1-0 on Sunday at Nkoloma Stadium last week. Striker Marvin Jere scored the only goal of the game in the 45th minute to send Patrick Phiri’s boys to progress to the semifinals. Speaking in a post-match interview, Phiri said that he was proud of his boy’s performance despite having struggled to beat the FAZ Division one zone three representatives Kabwe Youth Soccer Academy. Phiri said Dynamos will now aim to win the tournament. “It was a tough match but we are happy to have progressed to the next round.
