The warning follows the arrest and detention of the district chairperson for Mufumbwe Peter Kalundu by police for alleged illegal possession, cutting and transportation of the prohibited Mukula tree. But on Saturday, Mr Kalundu decided to defect from PF to UPND in Kabwe during the party’s card renewal exercise for fear of being disciplined by the party. PF provincial chairperson Jackson Kungo warned that the party will not tolerate indiscipline by allowing officials to engage in illegal activities that puts the name of the party into disrepute.
