Wed, 23 Nov 2016 13:40:55 +0000 THE personal-to-holder mentality among opposition political parties is what has created intra-party conflicts because some people think politics are money-making ventures for their personal survival, Patriotic Front Lusaka provincial youth chairperson Kennedy Kamba has said. Commenting on the wrangle in the Forum for Democracy Development which has culminated into the suspension of its vice-president Chifumu Banda, Mr. Kamba said dictatorial tendencies have again shown their ugly face in the opposition political parties as their leaders had taken them as institutions for income generation. He said Mr. Banda’s suspension was ill-timed and an assault on principles of democracy as espoused in the FDD party manifesto and wondered what kind of leadership FDD was portraying especially that its leader Edith Nawakwi has been critical of Government over alleged undemocratic tendencies.
