Mon, 19 Feb 2018 10:47:39 +0000 By MAILESI BANDA THE Workers Compensation Fund Control Board (WCFCB) had over 19,723 beneficiaries at the close of 2017, head communication and customer services, Maybin Nkholomba has disclosed. Mr. Nkholomba said the beneficiaries were receiving their funds promptly using different payment platforms adding that the organisation was working towards increasing the payment platforms. He announced that WCFCB had signed a three year Memorandum of Understanding with ZANACO for the sole purpose of paying benefices through their Xapit platform. In a media statement made available to the Daily Nation, Mr Nkholomba said the beneficiaries would access their funds through their Xapit cards which had been seen to be a faster and quicker payment solution. “The Workers Compensation Fund Control Board has signed a three-year Memorandum of Understanding with ZANACO for the sole purpose of paying benefices through their Xapit platform,” he said.
