By PETER SICHALIENACTING the Cyber Security Bill will not entail monitoring calls and activities of citizens, says the Zambia Information and Communications Technology Authority (ZICTA).ZICTA Manager for Corporate Communications, Ngabo Nankonde, said the WhatsApp message which was being circulated was fake and could cause disturbance in the minds of people.Ms Nankonde said there is a law that allows interception of calls for security reasons.“When you look at this particular message, it is a message that has been making rounds for about two years but we wish to state that it is fake news and it should be treated as such,” Ms Nankonde said.Ms Nankonde said the message should be ignored with the contempt it deserves.She explained that the Cyber Security Bill does not provide for interception of messages.
