Mon, 03 Apr 2017 13:28:37 +0000 NDOLA Teaching Hospital (NTH) management has with immediate effect banned its staff from using cell phones while on duty. Senior medical superintendent Alex Mukupe said management enforced the ban in an effort to improve health care service delivery. Dr Mukupe disclosed this when Ndola Central Member of Parliament (MP) Emmanuel Mulenga called on him at his office. The parliamentarian yesterday led hospital staff, Patriotic Front members and Christians from different denominations to conduct cleaning and maintenance works at the health facility. “We have banned the use of cell phones by hospital staff while on duty. The decision was arrived at after reviewing how best we can be able to offer services to the patients that come through the facility,” he said.
