President Lungu said change of mind set and behaviour would help in fostering national unity and development. In a speech read for him by Minister of Defence Davies Chama at this year’s Nc’wala Ceremony of the Ngoni people in Chipata yesterday, President Lungu also appealed to traditional leaders to work closely with Government to ensure national development. He urged traditional leaders to ensure that they passed on the rich Zambian culture to future generations. President Lungu said traditional ceremonies played an important role in the preservation of culture and tradition. The Head of State said traditional ceremonies should be preserved because they had proved to be a unifying factor in the nation.
