Wed, 09 Nov 2016 11:56:28 +0000 PRESIDENT Edgar Lungu says he has learnt with deep sorrow the untimely passing away of Ms Irene Hlekiwe Marsha Moyo, a renowned icon in the arts locally and internationally. President Lungu has said Ms Moyo’s distinguished contribution to the field of arts, gender equality advocacy and the marketing of the country’s tourism sector as lifetime Zambia’s Tourism Ambassador shall greatly be missed. In a statement by his special assistant for press and public relations Amos Chanda, President Lungu prayed that the family would find comfort and strength in the Almighty God during this difficult period. “On behalf of the Zambian Government and on my own behalf, I wish to extend my heartfelt sympathies to the Moyo family on this tragic loss. We mourn with you on this tragic loss,” the President said.
