Fri, 09 Jun 2017 14:20:19 +0000 By MUKOSELA KASALWE RESIDENTS of Matero’s Kapwepwe ward have raised K3,600 in a fundraising walk to buy furniture for the newly constructed Lilanda police post, says Patriotic Front Kapwepwe 25 ward councillor Patrick Salubusa. Mr. Salubusa said following the creation of the anti-crime and anti-garbage neighbourhood watch committees in Kapwepwe ward and plans to officially open Lilanda police post next month, residents joined in a fundraising walk to raise money for the purchase of furniture. In an interview, he said although residents made contributions of K10, K5, K2 and coins, a total of K3,600 was realised and that it was a symbol of unity of purpose.
