The party general secretary Wynter Kabimba said the economy of the nation could only improve if the local people took centre stage in controlling its status. Mr Kabimba said the economy of the country was mainly dominated by the foreign powers especially the international companies. Mr Kabimba was speaking this in Kitwe during the second anniversary of the establishment of the party. He said the multi-national companies operating in Zambia were making a lot of profits but the money was externalised to their countries of origin Mr Kabimba said the foreign investors were only interested in making profits in Zambia at the expense of poor Zambians.
