Area Councillor Longa Chiboboka said in an interview that he and Lusaka City Council (LCC) engineers had embarked on identifying gravel roads to be tarred under the second phase of the L400 programme. “These new roads will have proper drainages, street lights and sidewalks. We are going round with LCC engineers to do mapping of the roads that residents have identified as priority roads which they want to be tarred. One of the roads is this filter road which stretches between Saint Patricks’ School and Nationalist Road, “We would also like to target the roads that are near the beautiful Julia Chikamoneka play park which we are doing and also the road near Kabwata Cultural Village, which is a tourist attraction.
