Council chairperson Lucas Chikoti told the Daily Nation in an interview that the education, agriculture and health sectors were key in the development of the nation. Mr Chikoti said that no economy could grow if the three sectors were not well taken care of. “The three sectors are key to the development of the country, so we expect that these sectors will get the highest funding,” said Mr Chikoti. He also said it was also important to invest in the energy sector by constructing more hydro power stations to lower the electricity tariffs.
