Southern Province commissioner of police Bonny Kapeso said the incident happened between 03:00 and 04:00hrs and named the deceased as Mulambo Mampelela while the assailant has been identified as Gilbert Sikanda. Mr. Kapeso said the deceased sustained a deep cut on the neck and that investigations to ascertain what happened had commenced while a docket had also been opened for Mr. Sikanda. “A 24-year old housewife of Livingstone’s Nottie Broad has been murdered by her husband after she was stabbed in the neck using a knife.
