Mr. Mumbi, who was Mr. Hichilema’s spokesperson, said he would not have chickened down if he was still with the UPND like Mr. Mwamba as he would have continued speaking for Mr. Hichilema because the UPND leader desperately needed gallant people to stand by him. He said it was surprising that Mr. Mwamba had decided to leave the country and continue issuing reckless statements from wherever he was holed up that Zambia was in turmoil without realising that the party needed him more back home now that its leader was in incarceration.
