Zambia national fire service training school commandant Yona Mwale said this was because the national training school has never had a single fire tender for practical training. Speaking during a media briefing at his office shortly after the graduation and pass out of 57 firefighters, Mr Mwale said the training school has never had a single fire tender for practical training for the past four years. He said the fire tenders that government had procured were important for the training school because firefighters undergo training that require them to have a feel of what was expected of them in the event of fire emergency in the community.
