Mr Zulu said road projects that were delayed in the province would be completed by March as government was in a hurry to improve the road infrastructure in the area. Mr Zulu said key roads such as the Chipata Mfuwe road would soon be completed. “Works on the Chipata-Chadiza road, Chipata-Vubwi road and Katete-Chadiza road will soon be completed,” he said. Mr Zulu said a good road network in the province was a vital tool to spur economic development in the province. He said roads enabled the country’s transportation sector to contribute towards the Gross Domestic Product (GDP).
