Sat, 29 Jul 2017 12:46:04 +0000 By ANNIE ZULU THE Drug Enforcement Commission (DEC) has arrested a Lusaka couple for trafficking in narcotic and psychotropic substances contrary to the laws of Zambia. Marvin Fungai Kamambo, aged 31 and his 25-year-old wife Twambo Chonta have been arrested and jointly charged for trafficking in cocaine, heroin and cannabis. Also seized from the couple is one unregistered Vox wagon vehicle, two flat television sets, two upright double door fridges, one upright single door fridge and one deep freezer. DEC Public Relations Officer Theresa Katongo confirmed the arrests to the Daily Nation in a statement yesterday. And in a related development, DEC has arrested Cleophas Mateo Nyirenda, 36, of Lukanga Township in Kabwe for trafficking in cocaine, heroin, ephedrine and cannabis.
