Ms Chileshe said the idea to secure land was not only to reduce congestion at Kasumbalesa border Post, but also help to decongest the Central Business District (CBD) where many trucks were parking due to lack of space. “As you are aware, there are plenty of trucks moving to Kasumbalesa border Post and so we have been having congestion. “So, in an effort, to reduce congestion at the border and in the CBD, the local authority decided to secure 5.4 hectares of land where trucks will be parked,” Ms Chileshe said.
