Wed, 23 Nov 2016 13:04:54 +0000 ZAMBIA Professional Boxing and Wrestling Control Board (ZPBWCB) secretary John Shipanuka has resigned with immediate effect so that he can focus on his family matters. In his resignation letter dated November 18 addressed to ZPBWCB board chairman Nelson Sapi, Shipanuka said he had taken the decision purely on personal reasons. He said that although he had enjoyed working with the association he had decided to vacate his portfolio so that he could focus on his family matters. “Please accept this letter as my formal resignation as a Board Secretary with immediate effect. Although I have enjoyed working with you, personal reasons necessitate that I vacate my position and focus on improving my situation at home,” Shipanuka said.
