The accident happened yesterday around 07:00 hours at Kifubwa Bridge along the Solwezi-Chingola road about 10 kilometres from Solwezi. North Western Province Commissioner of Police Auxensio Daka said the accident occurred when Adrias Banda aged 37 of Chifubu compound in Ndola who was driving a Volvo tanker registration number ACZ 8934 with sulphuric acid on it lost control and hit into the bridge. “And due to the impact and damage of the tanker, it caused a spillage on the road and consequently that went into the river,” Mr Daka said.
