A cyclist has died on the spot in Kasempa district, North-western province, after hitting into a stationary truck.North-Western Province Commissioner of police, Elias Chushi, has confirmed the sad incident to ZANIS and has identified the deceased as Gladson Shitutani aged 23 of Nkenyauna area.Mr Chushi disclosed that the accident occurred on 16 December, 2020 around 21:30 hours near Kamusongolwa area in Kasempa district.Mr Chushi explained that the cyclist hit into a stationary Volvo truck registration number ALH 5293 which had broken down, adding that the victim sustained fatal head injuries due to the impact which caused him to die on the spot. “Even the motorcycle he was riding was extensively damaged while no destruction was caused to the Volvo truck,” he said. Mr Chushi said the body is lying in the Mukinge mission hospital mortuary awaiting postmortem
