By MICHAEL MIYOBATHE Zambia Under-20 national team propelled to six points in Group-B of the 2020 COSAFA Mens Under-20 Championship after beating Comoros Islands 2-0 in a group B fixture at Wolfson Stadium in Port Elizabeth.Goals from John Chishimba and Derrick Bulaya handed Zambia their second victory at the COSAFA having beaten Namibia in the first game.Chishimba broke the deadlock within three minutes of kick off, beating the Comoros Islands goal keeper with a brilliant shot from inside the 18-yard box.Bulaya doubled the Junior Chipolopolo’s advantage in the dying minutes of the first half, tapping the ball into an empty net after some solo moments of brilliance from team captain Prince Mumba who went past two defenders before setting up Bulaya.Comoros almost got a consolation goal in the 67th minute but were unfortunate as goal keeper Patrick Chooma denied Fahad Yacine from scoring penalty which was saved as Zambia maintained a 2-0 lead.Chishimba almost grabbed […]
