By OLIVER SAMBOKOTHE three UPND members of Parliament who voted for Bill 10 have reportedly been expelled from the party for going against instructions of the leadership.The three MPs, Professor Geoffrey Lungwangwa of Nalikwanda Constituency, Solwezi Central MP Teddy Kasonso, and Senanga lawmaker Mukumbuta Mulowa defied party president, Hakainde Hichilema’s instructions not to vote for Bill 10.UPND spokesperson Charles Kakoma is reported to have said that the three MPs had been written to and asked to explain why they should not be expelled for their “treachery.”“The party can no longer tolerate treacherous behaviour from MPs,” Mr Kakoma reportedly said.But when contacted, Prof Lungwangwa said he had not received any letter from the party and was not aware about the expulsion.
